Caring for your pieces
These are technical fabrics. Treated well they hold their shape and colour for years; treated like a bath towel they lose their stretch in a season. The rules are short.
Wash
- Machine wash cold, gentle cycle.
- Turn pieces inside out.
- Wash with like colours.
- Remove bra cups first (Elle Bra, Sloane A-line Dress).
- Close the zip before washing (Courtside Quarter Zip).
Don’t
- No fabric softener. It coats the fibres and stops elastane recovering its shape. This is the most common way good activewear gets ruined.
- No bleach, including colour-safe bleach.
- No tumble dryer. Heat is what kills stretch.
- No dry cleaning.
- Don’t leave damp pieces balled up in a bag after a match — rinse and hang.
Dry
Dry flat, out of direct sunlight. Darker colours in particular will hold their depth longer out of the sun.
Iron
Only if you need to, on low heat. Avoid pressing pleats flat on the Calla Dress and Varsity Skirt, and iron around the embroidery on the Courtside Quarter Zip.

Undershorts, built-in or separate, are made from the same fabric as the garment shell.
Always follow the sewn-in care label — it governs.
How the pieces are made
Our garments use flat-seam construction — 4-needle 6-thread and 3-needle 5-thread stitching — which lies flat against the skin and reduces friction over a long match. Seam edges are overlocked so they don’t fray, and finished with binding for a clean, smooth edge.
