Clothes should do their job. This should not be controversial, but here we are.

I started Beyond Court because I wanted pieces that made sense for the way I actually live: play a match, meet a friend, run an errand, get on with the day. Too often, court clothes seemed designed for one hour and one setting. They performed, but felt like a costume everywhere else. Or they looked polished, but forgot that someone might need to move, sweat, serve, and carry an actual ball.

Practicality has always mattered to me. Between working in tech, living in New York City, and now being a new mom, there is not much room in the day for unnecessary outfit changes, decorative pockets, or clothes that need constant adjusting. I wanted fewer compromises and more thought.

So I made the pieces I could not find: designed for the court and made to keep up with the rest of the day. Function comes first. The fabric has to move. The fit has to stay put. The details have to earn their place. Then we add a little personality, because practical does not have to mean boring.

Beyond Court is for women who love to play, at every level. For the competitive ones, the recreational ones, and everyone in between. The clothes are made to perform when the point matters, but they are designed with the understanding that the match is only one part of the day.

The name is the whole idea. We care about the match, and everything before and after it.
